New Orleans Spanish Revival - Furnished Rentals New Orleans

Historic is Just Better for Living Local… Digital nomads, traveling for business, filming a movie… You have so many reasons to need a furnished rental in New Orleans… but why settle? Continue reading →

You could stay in an extended stay hotel. You could find a corporate apartment, like the Saulet. You could even stay in Metairie, or as close to your workplace as possible. You’ve done this before – but have you done it in New Orleans?

Unlike the many cities that host remote workers, New Orleans brings out a nostalgia in each visitor. There’s a curiosity about the homes, the traditions, the culture and the vibrant personality of NOLA that causes most of our monthly visitors to re-think their housing and try to embrace it all; even just for a little while.

If you’re thinking of coming here, you should really do yourself a favor and research your best “home away from home,” because this temporary home could make everything about your stay special.

The homes we manage are mostly historic. We have some newer ones, but the ones that you’ll remember are the ones with the “good bones;” the soaring ceilings, arched doorways, transom windows and tropical courtyards… They’re iconic, and many of them have been here since before the United States was a country. They hold history and secrets and are built with love of architecture. They were made to last forever – no matter what hardships they’ve endured.

Oh, and they’re all completely modernized, too. They hold old and new together like nowhere else.

It’s fun to learn the neighborhoods of New Orleans… the obvious ones, like the French Quarter, with its lacy ironwork and secret alleys and courtyards. There are gracious mansions Uptown and in the Garden District; quirky little shotgun houses in the Irish Channel and Bywater; then the genteel brick homes of Gentilly and the charm of residences Downtown, overlooking the shops, built for the proprietors of the businesses below them.

It’s tangled and complicated. Blocks on the same street can be different worlds altogether, similar to the burroughs of New York – but way more intimate. It’s a puzzle worth solving, and finding your place in it will change you.

This New Orleans gig won’t be your last. It never is.

You will need some help to find your place.

New Orleans, no matter what area, is actually a very small town. You may have your eye on a certain suburb, only to find out it’s just 6 miles from living right in the heart of it all.

And if “cozy” and “homey” are your vibe… that’s really the essence of New Orleans, and the homes will amaze you.

(The one in this picture is 100 years old and so modern it’s hard to reconcile it with the view of the exterior. Cottage? Hm…

So let us help. Super easy to call and get some guidance, some coordinates, and a bit of “live-like-a-local” orientation from property management “match makers.”

That’s us. We connect people with the homes that will host them best – no matter what brings you here.

Welcome to New Orleans!
